I’m originally from Germany and began my training to become a hairdresser in 2007, igniting a passion that has shaped my career ever since. I obtained my German Hairdressing License in 2011, followed by my German Master & Instructor Title in 2012, which has enabled me to share my expertise with others and open up my own business. I also earned my Alaska Hairdressing License in 2025, allowing me to continue pursuing my passion here in the United States.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in and managing high-end salons in Germany, refining my skills and understanding the artistry of hairdressing.

In 2017, I began my journey with L’Oréal, the world’s largest cosmetics company, where I first served as a Salon Development Trainer/Educator for L'Oréal Professional. In this role, I had the pleasure of training hairdressers in the art of hair coloring and salon techniques, helping them enhance their craft and deliver exceptional results to their clients. After that, I transitioned to the role of Salon Emotion Developer, focusing on business strategies and salon development.

Following this, I became an educator for Kérastase Paris, a luxury brand specializing in premium haircare products, treatments, and luxurious hair services. With Kérastase, I trained professionals on the use of high-end haircare products and treatments, helping salons elevate their service offerings to a more luxurious standard.

I was also fortunate to be part of the team that helped launch L’Oréal’s online education platform, L’Oréal Access, where I contributed by creating and translating educational content, making it accessible to a diverse, national audience.

My role as an educator has taken me across the globe, from Düsseldorf to Berlin and Paris to Dubai, where I’ve had the privilege of connecting with thousands of hairdressers, delivering both online and in-person seminars. Each interaction has been a learning experience, and I’m grateful for the chance to inspire and be inspired by talented professionals from all walks of life.

After 15 years in the industry, I reached a turning point.

I wanted to approach hairdressing differently—more intentionally, more cleanly and with greater respect for the long term health of the hair and scalp. I began studying a more holistic approach, looking beyond surface-level results and focusing on buildup, scalp balance, product residue, hair integrity and the individual needs of each client.

Precision haircuts were always my passion, but I’ve questioned a lot about how we approach a haircut. How can a haircut be tailored when we don’t look for the natural hair pattern first?

That shift led me to create Holistic Hairdressing in Germany in 2022.

What began as a new way of working became the foundation of my entire philosophy: quality over quantity, really tailored techniques, cleaner product choices and personalized care that supports both beautiful results and healthier hair over time.

In 2025, I brought Holistic Hairdressing to Alaska, where I now welcome clients into my private hair atelier in Eagle River.
